It has been forever since I have logged in let alone posted. So much has happened so bullets
- Glass making has now encompassed sculpting, fusing & slumping and flameworking. I had my first big show last weekend as part of Open Studios. For a small sample of my stuff - http://artspan.org/user/5351 some of this has sold and I have a lot of other things two. Just finished a commission for dinnerware service for 4. Yeah! Today had a class in flameworking sea creatures.
- took back up working in silver using some of my glass and the settings. have had some real positive results there. Meeting with a friend this coming week to see what stores we can maybe sell things like the cufflinks, rings, etc at.
- my AIDSLifecycle page is up. If you are looking for your year end tax donations, this will go towards the LA Gay and Lesbian Center this year. This year I have dedicated my fundraising to Monte http://www.tofighthiv.org/goto/KellyB.
- I tried out balega compression socks and if you are ever looking to get me a present... OMG they rock. (Mens' Medium).
- The rainy season is actually on time for the first time in years. So I turned of the drip system for the winter, just got out of a hot bath and am going to light the fireplace. Super tired with all I have gotten done today so early dinner and quiet night in seems to be the way to go. Tomorrow will be a late night since I will be going with a friend to “ALL ABOUT EVIL: The Peaches Christ Experience in 4-D” Hosted by Peaches Christ and featuring the Midnight Mass Players.
