Room for rent in spacious beautiful 5-bedroom house in Hayward. All Utilities included, PG&E, water, cable and internet. Shared kitchen, laundry and bathrooms. Vaulted ceilings in the shared space, fireplace, and a nice patio out back. Located in a quiet, diverse and clean neighborhood. Close to public transportation, Hwy 880, CAL State East Bay and Chabot College. Half mile from South Hayward BART.
Shared with mixed gender household (maximum 5 full-time and one part-time). Potential roommates must be accepting of alternative gender-sexuality (GLBT, poly & kink) and religions (Pagan). Should also be able to accept our two cats as part of the household. (Lease does not allow additional pets.) We are bi/poly/pagan/alt-friendly. We run an online business from home, so the two primary residents are home much of the time. In addition, friends, co-workers and community members visit regularly and we occasionally host semi-public events.
We are looking for people who are responsible, friendly, clean up after themselves and pay rent on time. Full time job or other stable support preferred. College student or working professional fine. No smoke or incense. One member of the house is disabled and has severe allergies to smoke & other heavy scents, as well as being sensitive to loud noise.
Room is 10 X 10 downstairs room with window facing back patio and closet (available now). Downstairs with bathroom next to room.
Rent is $700 (including share of utilities - gas, electric, garbage, water, wifi) for one person per room. Cable TV in shared space, but cable in room would be extra. Current residents share food and meals, but that would be additional and negotiable. First and last month rent + $500 security deposit. References required. Room is currently available.
