Mom Update
Well, things have very slowly progressed for Mom and she's getting out of the (stroke) rehabilitation center this Wednesday. She's still in a somewhat precarious health state and will require 24 hour care. She's going to be moving into an Assisted Living Facility that will even permit her to have her cat. So... we will see how things go for her.
This whole ongoing process has been quite an eye opener to what aging can be like and how to learn from some of the choices others make that on the long term have an ill effect on their health and longevity.
We're always hopeful things will continue to improve. It's sort of an expect the worst and hope for the best sort of situation sometimes.
