leaving in 20 min or so for another class and then work afterwards.
up and down, my brothers and sisters. i tell you.
up's are that a piece of mine (the image of me on a bridge with tally marks that i had posted in here earlier) was selected to go into a juried exhibition at my school. it did not win an award, but a lady contacted me yesterday and said she saw it hanging there and would like it to go into a show she's coordinating at the Center Club downtown in the Legg Mason building. it'll be up for 3 months there starting in January, and i get to go to the fancy opening. i have no idea how im going to price it yet.
down's are that my car finally died. i was driving and turning left at a 4-way stop sign when the transmission blew out and consequently locked my car up in the middle of the road. which is where it had to stay for an hour until a tow-truck came because it wouldnt slip into neutral either. im really blessed to have my family to help me out.
sometimes i think people have stopped inviting me to things because they see me as a girlfriend now.
