After getting ill last week, I guess I stopped posting to LiveJournal. I also put life on hold for a whlie as I caught up on work. But what I didn't do was miss out on parties.

I was walking to a party, a corporate party, last Friday when I noticed that the Pins-Parc intersection was actually looking rather sane. Cars weren't driving on overpasses and there was this simple stop-light controlling traffic. Wow! They're almost finished. Just in time for winter.

I continued walking south until I got to NITI. You see, the folks at NITI were throwing three release parties in one: a new version of the Nitix operating system, the end of two interns' terms there, and Damian's goodbye.

We had assorted lime-based foods and drinks, which was a good little in-joke. We also managed to have the employees outnumbered by alumni. Which guaranteed an interesting time.

I'm not really sure what happened by the end, because I was so tired. But I do think I managed to stagger home under my own power.
