About half a year ago, I read The Metamorphosis of Prime Intellect which happens to be written by one of the people on Kuro5hin. Since then, I've been meaning to read Acts of the Apostles which is another book written by a Kuro5hin contributor. Well, I've been procrastinating, so I finally finished it.
What am I procrastinating on? Well, dvips sometimes generates output that uses Type 3 fonts instead of Type 1 fonts. What I want to do is look at the Type 3 encoded fonts, and figure out what their MetaFont names are, so that they can be replaced with an available Type 1 font. I've been looking into dvips's code, but it's quite the mess.
