You can stroll down Duluth St.
On a warm summer's night.
And if you just listen,
You can hear the sounds of life.
Through an open window,
And past the gauze curtains,
Shines the sound of laughter,
Shines the sound of joy.
Past an open doorway,
Hear the windchimes ringing,
As the breeze blows
Through the darkened hall.
In a large and open window
Sit a dining room of diners
From the open door beside it
Comes the clattering of dishes.
You can walk up Prince Arthur
On a warm summer's night.
And if you just listen,
You can hear the sounds of life.
