If Dani and Rob set a date this year, that will make 5 weddings we have to go to in 2007. Yay for us being trendsetters :).
I got more mail today than I have in a long time. Well, more non-junk mail. I got my prescription -- which is good, I dind't want to run out of happy pills -- an invitation to Annie's bridal shower, and a wonderful birthday present from my parents. They told me I could open it early. It's pretty notecards with my name on them and our address pre-printed on the envelopes. I've wanted personalized stationary, so I'm excited. Who wants a note from me?
Also, Keith & Licy came for dinner and to watch the game. Silly BCS. Ben made tasty quiche, though, and that was good. I'm so glad we have at least a couple of friends who live close to us.
Our goal for the MPG on the current tank of gas in the Prius is 55. I think we'll make it. Hopefully I don't screw it up when I have to go on fairly short trips to shop for some stuff for work tomorrow. But what can you do, really? It's currently at about 57.8 or 9, and it's almost 150 miles in. Go us...I love our car.
I read the issue of People that looks back on the year during the game today (Maggie gives them to me when she's done and I read them idly while eating, not really paying attention to something else going on, etc.). Man, it has been a crazy year. Hopefully this next one will bring wonderful things.
Also, you should all watch An Inconvenient Truth if you haven't. It's good, but it makes you torn between killing yourself and going out to organize some kind of activist group. Not really, but it's depressing to think about what is going to happen before our generation gets to the end of the line...
On that note, good night.
