My new world phone showed up yesterday

With my upcoming trip, I decided I needed to get a new unlocked world phone. What I had planned to use was my Motorola KRZR K1 which I've had for years, but with the trouble I'd recently been having using a phone of similar technology in actually hearing the other end of the conversation, I decided it was time to upgrade that phone as well. What I've upgraded to is a Samsung Galaxy S 3, SGH-I747, which is unlocked and is more powerful than the Galaxy S 3 sold here in the US. The one sold in the US has a dual core chip, the I747 has a quad core chip. It ended up costing more than I'd originally wanted to pay, but realized that I was going to have to go a bit outside my financial comfort zone to get a good phone, so I did. I'll end up getting a 32gb SDHC micro memory card for the phone. In the meantime, I'm awaiting the arrival of a micro SIM card for use at my impending destination.
