My last Hanukkah gift finally arrived!
I know it's been nearly 3 months since Hanukkah ended, but this one is true. At work, the two young attorneys asked me what I wanted for Hanukkah as part of gifting betwixt one another (I always find something for those with whom I work at the Yellow Daisy Festival, so that shopping was done the weekend after Labor Day). I told them I'd like the 4 CD, 1 DVD set called "Peter, Paul & Mary - Carry it On." It's the set that was hyped so much on the PBS special about Peter Paul & Mary that gets shown during pledge drive. So the younger attorney ordered it through Amazon with the hope that it would arrive in time for even the last day of Hanukkah. Well, it didn't show up.
The younger attorney kept checking and the estimated shipping date kept getting later and later - January 3, January 10, January 20, February 3, February 20. Well, last Friday, he got a note saying the box set was finally being shipped on February 19! It arrived on the February 22. I didn't realize it was the set until the younger attorney opened it up, saw what it was, gave it to me and wished me a Merry Christmas. I thanked him, then the other attorney who had contributed as well.
I am looking forward to enjoying the 86 tracks on the 4 CDs and the 8 tracks on the DVD.
