[good afternoon, Johto. this video is brought to you courtesy of Skarmorycam, which is much more steady and reliable than Cleffacam. less jumping around, for a start. Siobhan is taking her filming duties very seriously because, you see, her trainer is actually doing something useful for once.
the scene is inside the Violet Gym, and Falkner's Noctowl is currently taking a beating from a rather determined Ampharos with Thunderpunch. it doesn't take long before the Noctowl falls and is replaced with Honchkrow; Amarissa, for her part, lets out a triumphant Pharos! before returning to her own ball.
next up is Cassandra the Persian, and she is just so unimpressed with this Honchkrow. you do enjoy a nice Fake Out and a lot of Power Gems, don't you, Honchkrow? no? oh well, down with you too.
and finally, Eugene the Swampert versus Pidgeot. which is determined very, very quickly as Eugene's first Ice Beam promptly freezes Pidgeot into a solid block of ice. after that it's a simple matter of a few Take Downs before Pidgeot is officially out.
at which point the feed cuts, because does Skarmorycam care about the rest of this? nope.]
[and a bit later, outside the gym, this would be Oshitari holding the Zephyr badge up to the screen with a grin.]
