Ah, do you know if you use one Pokemon in battle, then immediately switch to a different one once it starts, the first Pokemon still gains experience?

If you use two Pokemon in the battle, they'll each only get half the total experience they would have gotten, but it can be a useful way to train lower-level Pokemon, if they can't handle a certain area on their own.
