Day 5: February 19 2008

Shannon: Today Peter and Eric came up. It was okay. Right about when they came up, I got a phone call just letting me know that my house was robbed. That was less okay. I was torn between wanting to go home and wanting to stay because I paid for hockey tickets. However, I was a lot less concerned than I thought I would be actually. We went to go skating, but the Canal was closed. Major unfair. Instead we went downtown to the market and I had a crepe! Highlight of the trip, it was delicious. I also found out that BOTH Rachel and I got the job in Italy. Hallelujah! We all sat around and had lunch and then walked around a bit more and got beaver tails. I had to share mine because I already had a crepe. Not cool, I wished I hadn’t. Then it was about time to head to hockey.
Liam: So we had a fun drive.
Shannon: Yeah right.
Liam: It took us over an hour because of traffic and snow. But then found the arena easily, parked and went inside to pee because Shannon had to go really bad.
Shannon: I did.
Liam: Right after we signed up for our credit cards all 4 of us and got flags and scarves, it was awesome.
Shannon: Mine was wet, it was weird. We went to this restaurant/bar place and got drinks and some sandwiches. Well, I got wings, I regret it.
Liam: There was a band.
Shannon: They were amazing! I really liked them. Then I flirted with the waiter and he brought me some kettle chips on the house. I really liked them too. Hockey game! Peter and I bet on the score, and even though it went to shoot out, I got it exactly right.
Liam: Fun game. The drive out of the busy parking lot was less than stellar. But we made it out without a hitch and drove back into Auntie Yvonne’s house. Peter and Eric were drunker than they should have been. Then we split up teams and played some pool!
Shannon: I was with Eric, he sucked! I think it was all those racist comments he was making. Then we ate our potatoes finally and went to bed.
