I need a soldier
Staff meeting last night was AWESOME! We got into our reams (dream ream!), and my group is the hot guy, Chris Gusen, Monica, who used to run Oil Thigh Designs, and Tim! It's pretty smashing. We're going to make underwear that says "wideformat," have tee shirts that instead of saying like, "Queen's Physical Education Centre XXL" say "Printing and Copying Centre 8 1/2 x 11." Also, a tee shirt with "Get the fax straight." Hilarious! I had a lot of fun.
But the best part was - I got named Employee of the Month! I was so excited! Mostly because I didn't expect it at all, just two nights ago I was telling Liam that I didn't think I would ever get it, and I was dead serious. They said I was friendly, took initiative, they loved my designs (in my spare time I make a lot of arts and crafts, and today used recycled paper that the repairmen were throwing out to design little notebooks with my fruit love comics on them from facebook), and that I even game in while I was sick. And that I was always striving to reach celestial blue... which is a colour of paper we have on the top shelf that I can never reach! It was great.
Liam and I went to the library yesterday, and I got a lot of work done. I feel so proud of myself when this happens, probably because it is not terribly often. Then we watch Shawshenk Redemption. What a great day!
I'm glad everyone else also seems to be getting along well.
