Last weekend before we leave for Houston.
This is the final weekend before we leave for Houston on Wednesday and much of the time was spent trying to get ready to go.
The unseasonable winter weather continues and it was 68 on Friday & 70 on Saturday, so we did carve out some time to play tennis.
We had purchased a surf & turf meal for 6 people at a church charity auction, last month. So we had invited two other couples and had a wonderful steak & lobster at one of our neighbor's homes.
Our pastors are both leaving on a mission trip today, so the immediate family met with them after worship on Sunday to have a prayer for the coming surgery. The entire Kansas City area extended family got together at Cinzetti's restaurant to say goodbye and get hugs on Sunday evening.
