Week 15 Challenges
Sorry for the delay, folks. Welcome to Week 15!
Just to note, Best of the Month voting ends today at 11PM EST.
Also, you will note that cap suggestions have only been supplied for SG-1 this week (thanks to teddibear). mmegiry should be uploading the BSG cap suggestions very soon (we've both been having computer problems, so it's sent the schedule into a bit of a spin). I'll let you know when they're ready for viewing. SGA has no cap suggestions this week.
As always, a few reminders. Please label your submissions clearly. It does not matter if you submit your icons in more than one post, but you must be sure to label correctly. You don't have to participate in all the challenges. If you have any problems with my Photobucket, please let me know.
Throughout the week, I'll post reminders and be on hand to answer any of your questions. Let's get into the challenges! :)
SG-1 Challenge - The Early Years
For this week's SG-1 challenge, you will be iconning the early years of SG-1. For the purposes of this challenge, I've classified the early years as seasons 1 and 2. You may not use caps from any other seasons. This is a free-for-all challenge, so there are no other restrictions. teddibear has compiled a large cap suggestions folder (listed in the resources) for use. You may submit up to 3 icons.

SGA Challenge - Ship Factor
Most of us have our favourite pairings, don't we? Your task this week is to make pairing icons. Please note that this challenge has a few restrictions. Pairings must be between two people (that means no inanimate objects - such as McKay/lemons - and no threesome or team OTPs - we'll save that for another challenge), can be het or slash, and obviously, they don't have to be canon. You are free to choose any icon style. Here are a few examples:
Examples by ladyireth (ignore that it's SG-1; I thought it would be a good example of a split icon), blimey_icons, and emily_reich.
As always, please remember that our spoiler policy is in place, so if you do decide to use an S3 image, ensure it looks generic (i.e. as though it could belong to any episode). Seasons 1-2 are fair game. Though I have not included an individual cap suggestions folder for this challenge, I encourage you to look through the cap suggestions archive. There are tons of good images there. You may submit up to 3 icons.

BSG Challenge - Boom Boom
This week you will be iconning explosions and general violence or references to such. For example, you may icon a Cylon raider exploding in a ball of flame, Starbuck punching Tigh in the mini, or create a general character icon - like Boomer with the words "boom boom girl". Please remember that a spoiler policy is in place, so while you are allowed to use the new S3 promotional images, you are not permitted to use images from the new trailers or episodes. The miniseries and seasons 1-2 are fair game. There are no other restrictions. You may enter up to 3 icons.

For special vote, Best Colouring (BC-2) is the pick this week. Mod's Choice will also be included. Submit your icons to this post. The icon deadline is Tuesday, 26th September, 11PM EST.
