My Pike's been pretty quiet lately. I blame the two years or more between movies things.

I put him on reserve though. Just got back from a Con, so he's feeling talkative again. Hopefully, when I get through this Trek novel I'm reading he'll be back to normal.

Yeah. And there's no guarantee Pike'd even be in it anyway.

"The Rift" By Peter David. I have an hour and a half commute, two days a week so it should go by pretty fast.

Pike should be in it even if it's just to facepalm over Jim. He should have a bigger role than that but I'd still squee if they had a scene of Pike facepalming forever.

I don't know if I have that book on my list. But my list has a way of multiplying when I'm not looking.

I like it so far, but Peter David wrote my favorite Trek Book ever, "I,Q" so I've made it a summer project to read all of his.
