[ Log/Third Person Sample ]:(Taken from a random porny drabble that I wrote instead of doing my application. Um. Now it is my application.)
The first time Pavel called Hikaru “Karushka” Pavel had gasped it out during sex. Hikaru had stilled above him immediately and gave him a stricken look. “That’s a name. That’s not… I know that’s not… Who is he?”
Pavel frowned in confusion; the fact that Hikaru had not yet pulled out was making thinking a difficult task. “Who is who?”
Hikaru pushed himself off of Pavel and sat, ignoring the little whine Pavel made when he slipped out of the Russian, angry now as well as hurt, “You just called out someone else’s name. I can’t believe you, Pavel. This is how I find out you’ve been sleeping around on me? By you-”
“Hikaru,” Pavel interrupted, following Hikaru across the bed and placing his hands on his boyfriend’s upper arms in an effort to calm him,
“Zat is your name, Hikaru.”
“What, no!” Hikaru gave him an incredulous look, “You called out some Russian name.”
Pavel, much to Hikaru’s displeasure was looking rather amused, a smile tugging at his lips. “Hikaru…” he began, “I am ze only Russian on ze Enterprise. Vhere am I finding zis Russian man to cheat on you vith?”
Hikaru simply glowered at him, and he sighed, running his hands down the pilot’s arms, “It is just a nickname. ‘Hikaru’, ‘Karushka’, you see?” he hesitated, “I von’t use it anymore. You don’t like it.”
Hikaru looked skeptical “No, it just… doesn’t sound anything like my name. And it’s just as long.”
Pavel stared at him blankly, “I don’t understand.”
“Nicknames are supposed to be short, you know, short versions of names.” He ran a hand through his hair.
Pavel bristled, “Zen you are doing it wrong. Russians inwented nicknames, and we do it best,” he defended, “You call me ‘Pasha’. Zis is just as long as ‘Pavel’. You did not find zis strange.”
“Well yeah… but ‘Pasha’ is cute.”
Pavel crossed his arms.
Hikaru was entering dangerous territory, and he knew it, “Yeah, okay, you can call me that. It just… wasn’t what I was expecting is all.” he relented and held up his hands.
He probably should have been expecting the pillow that was flung into his face.
“I cannot believe you thought I called out someone else’s name during sex!” Pavel was clearly trying to fight back laughter, “You are an idiot, Hikaru.”
Hikaru’s response was to tackle him back into the bed.
As Hikaru eased himself back into the body below him, Pavel called Hikaru "Karushka" for the second time. It was much better received.
