Never forget
So much happens every single day
The days are long and drawn out, and exhausting
And then you blink and you have a two year old
This morning while driving I was playing Ellie's Spotify playlist..she's currently obsessed with The Happy Song by Imogen Heap. A favourite we have played since she was about 3 months old, on and off. She has recently started properly singing along with songs. Not just a word here and there.
I burst out in tears as we were both singing to the happy song. I was watching her in the mirror and bursting with pride.
God, parenthood is just relentless. These past 18 months have been relentless on my health, my marriage. But moment like these.. just thrust me back into realising what a miracle she is
