a contented baby falling asleep in your arms, with a look of absolute peace on her face.
...I know observations on how great motherhood is are totally corny and cliché, but I just can't help it. I have the best baby in the world. I don't even feel like a "mother" per se...I just feel like a creature with this completely awesome bond to another creature. And she is totally, utterly dependent on me.
It's humbling and exalting at the same time.
