Man, I really did have intentions to update months ago. Here's a dump of stuff since February.
Been putting my energies more towards handicraft, costume and client work lately so not that many doodles (and boy am I ever getting hella rusty erghgghh >:T).

Revisiting an old colouring method from back when I first started playing with digital stuff (Jasc Paint Shop Pro lol, geez)
Sob, I love these two so much. So very much. I should probably get to watching S2 of SB (so late sob). Also really, really need to catch up on Gintama :C.
Sorry, they're pretty boring and all headshots sob. I want to focus back on drawing and painting again soon. Oh right, I was supposed to finish that 30 day challenge too. Someday.
Life update (mostly for my own records):
• Work has been particularly draining these past few months. I love my job, workplace and coworkers to pieces, but there's this one snag in the sweater that is getting worse. The Snag is bad enough that I've felt like quitting a few times, but I'm also stubbornly telling myself I won't let it break me. Place is (was) too fun for that. Grumble.
• I did a bit of travelling through BC earlier in the year and had a fantastic time meeting new faces and visiting some old ones. Scenery and weather was amazing the whole time. Also, stuffed my face on takoyaki at the Night Market in Vancouver :I. Can't get the good stuff back home.
• I also half-heartedly attended Calgary Comic Expo in the summer, where I managed to fangirl Kate Beaton a bit ( you should check out her comic if you haven't). Snagged a signed copy of her first book (with bonus crabby Wonder Woman even), and the amazing Holmes shirt. Haven't really felt up to hitting up the cons this year, but that is probably because I didn't whip up any costumes for myself haha.
• The most amazing campfire happened last weekend. I've never made a fire that got hot enough to burn white-blue inside, but maybe I don't go outdoorsing that much either. Marshmallows didn't stand a chance.
• Will be heading out to Seattle at the end of the month and plan to explore the area and con out with some good friends there, so I'm looking forward to it. There is a costume for this one, huzzah. Lots of adventures this year.
Hm, I really feel as though I just need a refresher from the norm. Something to kickstart my drive again! Vroom vroom! Will have to work on it.
I've been playing Bastion lately. Yes, I totally jumped on it for the shiny visuals :c. Dammit, they know exactly how to get me! It's pretty fun though. The narrator has a voice that whispers sweet nothings into my ear at 1am when I should be in bed.
Man, does anyone even use LJ anymore? I've got sentimental ties to it, but I'm wondering if I should start using tumblr and possibly start using my ancient, decrepit dA again. Although I have troubles enough keeping this updated as it is aha ( ತ︵ತ )a
