Brain Tumor
I found out the Thursday before Labor Day that I have a brain tumor. I had a really bad headache and went to the Hospital. I have a golf ball sized meninginoma right at the base of my skull where it turns into a funnel shape for all the nerves coming out. It is pushing my spinal column slightly to the right.
They said to come back in 6 months and see if it has grown. I got the MRI last week and my appointment was yesterday. The doctor said that he had taken my case to a couple of conferences. He said the response was mixed. All the radiologists suggested frying it and all the surgeons suggested watching it. It has not grown but the doctor suggested frying it because if it does decide to grow it will be really bad because it has no where to go but into the nerves.
I am still trying to figure out what to do. Anybody know any good doctors for a second opinion?
