GIRLS Aloud star Sarah Harding has been charged with failing to stop for police while driving and talking on her mobile phone.
The singer star was flagged down by cops who allegedly spotted her on her mobile while driving a 4x4 down a busy London street last Thursday evening.
The singer, 31, allegedly refused to pull over but was then stopped and arrested before being taken to Holborn Police Station.
Harding was charged with the two offences and bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on April 16.
A source said: “Sarah was very upset. The offences are pretty serious.”
Drivers convicted of using a mobile phone while driving can face fines of up to £1,000 and lose their licence.
Failing to stop can lead to fines of £5000.
