Oh yea...actual comment on the content of the interview...does anyone have additional detail on those first couple of years when they were without management? This interests me. All I've heard is that mother hen Kimba kind of stepped up and managed them in the absence of anyone else..?

but like..how does that work?

I need to read Dreams that Glitter again. I do know that Louis kinda ignored then and then their tour manager I think stepped in to kind of guide him but then he died in a car accident on Christmas =( But I think people at Polydor helped them too

frak balls! :( about the tour manager
I haven't read it yet *shame* it's sitting on my shelf waiting for me to finish my damn thesis first. But I'll understand more about what happened if I read that then?

Yeah, they talk about it in the book. It's a good read! And easy too =)

Basically I personally feel that if you read the book, it will help you on your thesis. In some way. =)

Louis Walsh was supposed to be their manager.

He never did anything.

The girls had to manage themselves.

Kimberley took the HBIC position and would negotiate deals for them.

Hillary swooped in and took over in 2005.

The end.
