Thank you so much for the cake. I wish that I could have been there for the ceremony and the party afterward but, well... I had a little bit of a personal emergency. I'm fine, I promise, no need to worry. All taken care of, it just took so long that I couldn't make it to the wedding, for which I am very sorry. If you really want to know, I can tell you about it when you get back to the village. I know you're going to say that my safety is more important than your celebration, but I'm still sorry.
