It's been 12 years coming... Screenplay Explained.

Mar 08, 2010 18:50

Since I was 10, all I've wanted to do was write movies. I thought of this story about some warriors... on an island.
This is also the time when anime was JUST coming over here, all the good series and shit.

I ended up working on short adventures with these characters. But it started as a mostly an 100% action based thing. As I matured, so did my writing...

So I rewrote...
And rewrote...
For years.

More emotions came out, and really now, it's more of a drama where heads get chopped up and is full of witty banter.

Let's get to the story then shall we?

We begin the story with our main protagonist Nightowl (Yes, this character is older then when I was on the internet.) committing some various violent crime with his friends in Chicago. It appears the good guy in him shows up during this one activity. And in saving his friends, he transforms in a Wolfen (Yes, older then the internet still) much to their shock. You gotta keep in mind... this is present day shit. Nightowl is able to transform between human and Wolfen on a whim.

The next day, he's robbing a bank with his friends... one his long lost mother happens to work at. After being chased down by his also half and half mother... or who he believes is his mother, he's taken to his old teacher Filos... 250 year old psychic who still has some powerful warriors working under her for unknown reasons. All we know is her older sister Sen and her husband are working with Satan to enslave the planet. Yeah, I went there.

It's all extremely complex and I'll end up spoiling the whole story.

Along the rest of the way, he learns his true purpose as a warrior, meets up with an old love. And we learn about the Afterworld. The Afterworld is a huge part of part 2 I'm working on that'll bring together Greek, Roman, Norse, and even gods of our current religions in one place. But again, don't wanna spoil the magic. But you'll love it... trust me, I'm the best there is and ever will be.

I also have some fighting terminology I've come up with, but that'll be another post. This is the jist of my life's work. An attempt to get people to see an alternate reality. The world your mind tells you isn't real. Why create a whole new world if you can do some badass things with the world you're already in?
