weekend update

I got to Rochester Thursday afternoon.  I hung out in Henrietta for a bit to kill time.  I met up with Elizabeth and we went to the job fair.  I was nervous, but it went well.  One woman wanted me to come in the next day.  We went and met up with Nicole as she was getting out of work.  We got dinner and ended up going to see Night at the Museum.  It was really funny.  We went back to Nicole's and talked for a bit.  Friday I got up so that I could get my car when Nicole went to work.  I went back and showered and prepared for my interview.  I think it went ok.  I went back and watched tv and played with the kitten.  Elizabeth came over and we hung out for a bit before going to pick up Rachael for the bridal show.  We eventually made it to the bridal show after getting lost and walking through the rain.  The show itself was eh, but the fashion show was great.  That made it worth going to.  When we were done at the show, we dropped Rachael off and went back to Nicole's.  The weather cleared up and Nicole was determined, so we ended up going out.  After some confusion about where we were going, we ended up hitting up the bars by Alexander Street.  I couldn't believe that it was January and I was able to walk around downtown Rochester in just a little halter top without being cold.  What's up with that?  Don't get me wrong, it was nice just weird.  I ended up having fun going out with the girls.  Saturday, Nicole and I hung around until the afternoon when we went ice skating with Elizabeth and her friends from high school.  I was sore for awhile, but I had fun.  After that, we went to Friendly's where Nicole had a blast with the coloring pages.  We ended up back at Nicole's for cheesecake and movie night.  Sunday, Nicole and I just kinda hung out around the apartment.  I headed back here mid-afternoon.  It was good to come back and cuddle with my kitty.  I had a lot of fun spending time with my friends in Rochester.  It was good to get out of the house and do something.  I'll probably be back out that way in the not too distant future, we'll see.
