Another trial update, or whinge - whatever you prefer to call it =D
English on monday - eh, went okay I hope in sections 1 and 3, but the creative writing thing was completely shithouse.
Wait, section 3 was also pretty dodgy for one part =P
That morning I learnt 5 quotes for 2 different poems, I remembered all 5 quotes in the exam for one poem but only 1 quote for the other poem (haha) so I improvised and split the "Partitioned off at night, by memories of hunger and hate" into two quotes! "Partioned off at night" and "hunger and hate" genius! haha.
The creative writing section my story went something along the lines of a woman and a man moving to another city, so they got in the taxi when their removalist truck left and went to the airport, waited there for an hour and got on the plane. The woman was stuck next to a fat smelly man (and yes, those words were used) who asked for 2 servings at lunch on the plane but they said no so he got cranky and got up out of his seat later and came back with biscuits in his pocket. He ate them and somehow the crumbs "wriggled" (only I would describe the movement of crumbs in such a way) over to the woman's shoulder....hmm.
Her and Brian (her husband) got off the plane and when she got off she made a comment about all the Armani suits (pointless, indeed) and then saw all the homeless bums on the street no-one cared about and she said that when she gets settled into their new apartment she will start community service and help out in soup kitchens, and the like. They got to the apartment and she saw it's goodness and realised how happy her husbund must be about it all which made her happy. End story. GAY!
Anyways, religion went along the same lines as that English...gay.
I heard today that Hugh (ah, he's so hilarious) wrote the following for his religion extended response:
[at top of page]: "Marker: this is a non-serious attempt; go have a cup of tea".
[intro]: "King Lear, although neither strictly a sacred text of Christianity or Judaism nor having much comment on marriage and divorce, does have some values which resonate in different contexts".
And I don't know how the rest went, but assumably amusing =P
Once again, the English paper today consisted of cramming quotes into my brain early this morning (7am damnit!) which was the extend of my study, once again haha.
I remembered all my quotes today but, hooray! Emma/Clueless was completely shithouse writing just over 2.5 pages; King Lear was the best of them all yay! I was so happy because I hadn't bothered to know ANY productions, ANY perspectives, and only 2 scenes which was what we were asked of =) and thankfully, those scenes were ones which involved Regan who we had to write about *jigs*x20. So I got 4 pages out on that. Frontline, was iffy I'm not sure if I answered the question but I did 5 pages of bull on that also, hooray.
Got KFC on the way home, some new meal deal which i'm always a sucker for "favourites" or something. With popcorn chicken, chicken strip, chicken leg, chips, potato gravy and all things delightful.
So, i've been home for 9 hours and the extend of my IPT study is........... approx. an hour. O golly haha, IPT is going to be THE WORST tomorrow, undoubtfully!
Wish me luck, and i'm sure none of you read the whole thing but eh, I wrote the whole thing.... that's something *cough*.
