i love roadtrips and the more spontanious they are the more fun you have! yesturday laura called and said she may be able to get me a ticket to the houston rodeo which started at 7 and then watch john mayer perform at 9. of course my reaction was yes while i was seriously putting myself in danger because i was throwing my hands in the air, screaming, and starting to sing my body is a wonderland while driving. laura had actually gone earlier that day because she was working at one of the booths with her mom and somehow she has some major connections with the rodeo people. so she was going to check around and give me a call back when she knew for sure if she could get me a ticket. she calls back about a hour later saying she got 3 extra tickets and she had asked two of our other friends to come too. patty being one of them. i love patty, but i haven't really had a bonding experience with her yet. we are friends, but nothing was really there. so we decided that she and i would ride down together after our last class. of course i had a test in that class yesturday so i couldn't skip :( we ended up leaving around 6 and its about a hour and half drive to houston. no big deal...we were more excited about seeing john mayer than the rodeo. it was the longest drive ever because patty ended up telling me her whole life story! at least i know more about her now. we park the car and ride the little shuttle thing to the stadium because we aren't dumbasses and think we can park in downtown houston without a wheel or a window being gone when we come back. once we got to the stadium we got in touch with laura so she could give us the tickets and since she got our tickets today we had different seats than everyone else who we were meeting there....but its ok cuz out seats were FRONT ROW!! hahaha it pays off to be a slacker! we watched about 30 mts of the rodeo which was actually really fun. i wish i had worn a cowboy hat and boots, but my cute blouse did just fine :) the concert wasn't very long because he was just a star performer for the rodeo (the houston rodeo is about 3 weeks long and every night there is a star perfomer....last night was john mayer, tonight is reba, then there are people like beyonce, jessica simpson, enrique, alan jackson, etc. i wish i could go every night!) anyway...i had a kick ass time! we got back to college station around 130 or 2 and i still had some work to do that was due today so that sucked, but it was worth it! i'm all about john mayer right now and all i want to do is scream at the top of my lungs, but i can't find my cd! hmmm...but i am wearing my totally over priced shirt. i also tried to upload pictures that i took on my digital, but my computer sucks balls so i can't! i'm going to have to go print it out and scan it in and i really hate doing all that work...yes i'm lazy. oh and its only wed. and i swear its saturday or sunday! this week has been so damn slow...thank god i'm going to dallas on friday.

p-s- jason called while i was at the concert and i couldn't talk so i told him i would call back tonight....i haven't been this excited to talk to him in a really long time!
