Scam
While looking for new jobs I have come across a company called RED SQUARE DIRECT and POWERHOUSE LTD which are, essentially, the same company and also scammers. I went for an interview with them and the place was grotty and the interview was suspicious. I was asked to come to a second interview the next day and i said that it would be difficult to do so. I immediately got the strong impression that failure to come to the second interview the next day would reuslt in no chance for a second interview. I backtracked and said i'd move some things around and would do the second interview.
I later got a phonecall telling me to meet a team leader in Brighton for the next day and to wear comfy shoes. Something didn't sound right. A whole day for a second interview in what sounded like free selling dind't sound right and i didn't contact them. I've since found out they're scam artists, but they're doing it in a legal way. I've noticed they're now using the name VI and VID and are advertising on reed.co.uk and Gumtree and Totaljobs. I contacted reed to tell them but nothin's been done. They're wasting so many peoples' time with the interview process alone. i've read some stories online of what people experienced on the second day interview. Glad i went with my gut feeling.
