A new beginning...

Hmm... so I suppose it's kinda weird updating after such a long time.  But maybe I'll say what's been up, how my classes have progressed, daily happenings/random thoughts that happen to enter my already extremely cluttered mind, and weekend festivities.  Let me start out by saying this weekend has been nothing less then awesome.

Friday night- went out to dinner for my dad's birthday- was kinda interesting, had to sit thru my sister and my mother fighting the entire time as I tried to calm them down.. but anyway after that I went over to Mike's house and hung out with him, Amr, Mario, Dan, Andy (Mayka) and some other juniors/people from other schools.  It was meh after that b/c I don't really like hanging out with people I don't know that well (especially when we don't have that much of senior year left) so I figure why spend time with people I honestly don't care about?  Sorry if that sounds bitchy but that's how it is.  Anyways it was awesome because the three of us (Mike, me, Amr) cuddled on the couch.  Awww...

Saturday- Slept till 12, hair appt, then slept again.  Around 9 I went out to Caribou to meet up with people which include once again Mike, Amr, Mario, but this time Ben instead of Dan (the same juniors were there again *annoying* (not them, just them being there)).  We hung out there for a while, did a little experiment with Mags (Mike) and then headed back to Mike's (just me, Amr, and Mike) to watch Nightmare on Elm Street- scurry movie and really gorey but overall pretty awesome for a product of the 80s.

Sunday- your basic Sunday.  Homework, sleep, and then GREY'S ANATOMY <--- the most perfect show on earth.

So how have the classes been?  Let's see...

Gym- I am now in 7/8 gym instead of 1st period, which sucks for 2 reasons.  Number 1: having gym first period made it seem like school didn't really begin until 2nd period (gym doesn't seem like a class if it's before all the other ones), so the day seemed much shorter then.  Number 2:  We have WAY too many peer partners in ratio to mentally challenged students, which means it seems like it's a bunch of (regular) kids in a modified class.  Ok??

ap spanish- it's been so easy all year, and very boring.  But I like it cuz Regina's in there, and I think Mrs. Jager is really sweet.

ap Calc- by FAR my hardest class this year, but Mr. Lange (nicknamed Lange-daddy and the Langster by me and Sean) is pretty awesome and very funny.

ap psych- come on people- the work load isn't that much.  People complain about this class all the time, but first of all, compared to some ap classes i've taken, this work load is LIGHT.  2nd of all, it's an Ap class, what did you expect?  Other then that- not much to say.  Sometimes it's interesting, sometimes it isn't.

ap english- such a fun class.  the discussions are AMAZING.  Mr. Comerford is also an amazing teacher- we talk about so many things in that class- I've never been so interested in a class b/c the subjects are just so intense- we go so deep into so many different ideas- from death to love, to everything.

Sociology- Sociology was a lot of fun.  Didn't really learn anything new, but walked away with a somewhat different view on the world.

ap Gov- my replacement for sociology.  So far- meh it's ok.  However it's nice to have Mr. Ritter in a less formal setting compared to AP US.

~ Alright well I best get going.  Turns out I am going to turnabout so I have to figure out which group I'm going in, but I think it'll be Mike and Maura's- which is also Ben, Dan, and Mario's group.  I love them.  Dress shopping Friday!

~Oh, and preseason training for soccer is starting soon.  This is the month before official practice/tryouts start, but I think instead of running 3 miles 2 times a week, we'll be going to sportsplex to do some skill work.  That'd be awesome because I don't like running with other people- I like to go my own pace- and this way I can just run on the days we don't go to the sportsplex.

BYE.
