I should' have written it down because it's slipping away as I type.... but I do remember that it was 1965 and the Who were jealous of the Stones' various female backing singers, so they recruited ME (!!!) to be their backing vocalist. Naturally I was very happy about this. For some reason, it was all taking place in New York. So I was told to meet them in Times Square in three hours because they had to go to church. (???) My mom told me that I had to look better in order to carouse with "Those stylish Carnaby street lads" so she took me shopping at some hole-in-the-wall indie place. I found this great pair of pink pants but when I came out of the dressing room my mom's obnoxious co-worker was wearing them as well. So I cried and ran out of the store. Then on the street I saw a cute pair of heart-shaped-sunglasses for $5 so I bought them. Then I went to Riverside Church where the Who were at mass, but everyone was Gregorian-chanting... and then all the church-goers slowly, in a singe-file line, started to walk towards the door. Pete and Keith saw me and started waving so I skipped over to talk to them. Keith then proceeded to steal my new sunglases off my head and say "Mine!" It was okay though, because they pinched my ears in the dream. Then we all went into this completely glass building in Times Square where we went up this long-ass elevator. When we got there, John was eating a sandwich and Roger told me that I wasn't going to be a backing singer, that this was all a ploy to suck up to Pete's Meher Baba obsession. So I cried and ran home. I'm very mature in dreams.
