Ryu's ongoing collection
Since azurekitsune wanted to see my figures I took the time to take pics of the whole bookshelf. Some cubicles of the bookshelf actually hold two rows of manga -- a row in the front and another in the back. Behold the pic spam /o/
I started collecting manga a few years back. It started with a stop I made at an old used books store that sold used manga at 4 for $10... hello bargain here I come XD I picked all 3 volumes of Diabolo (really good but rather short, I wish the story had continued), 2-3 volumes of Fruits Basket and I think a Volume of Gravitation...oh and a couple of Othello. After that of course I needed to finish the collections (I hate incomplete or out of order collections) Needless to say Borders has made quite a pretty penny with me ^^;
The first four pics are all Yaoi titles (no duh) except for "The Tarot Cafe" which I highly recommend.
Ask me about any title and I'll be happy to give you my opinion.
I love Miyamoto Kano and wish I could get my hands on more of her stuff. Unfortunately that's a task all on its own >.<
I used to buy a lot of DMP manga, now I limit myself to those series currently running like VF. I don't think I need to explain why >.>
Wished DeuxPress released more of the stuff I like.
These Gundam 00 Calendar cuties were the first figures I got from my friend Tina, it was the start of a rather expensive addiction *has no self control* orz
They are in month order so see if you can see which of them represents your month.
BEHOLD TAUBURN!!! And of course my tiny Star Driver characters. I'm still waiting for another SD set orz;;;
Behind you see my favorite shoujo maga -- Anything Kaoiri Yuki should be worshiped in my opinion -- also Lovely Complex, if you haven't read it, what the hell are you waiting for? Go read it, it's funny and full of sugar.
These are the lovely ladies from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Also a gift from Tina.
You'll notice that I buy a lot of YenPress manga, they are the best atm imo, also only buy SJ Advance manga cuz they have the better quality (I wish Naruto was SJA >.<)
Another winner title is "DOGS" I love it and since it's VIZ SIG it's not all butchered and censored :Db
xxxHolic...Aaah CLAMP is my guilty pleasure. (That book, La Carreta, is an old book (spanish) but really good)
Gravitation MY LOVE!!! This series basically shove me face first into Yaoi/BL. I started writing because of this series, started getting involved in fandoms because of this series... My name was born out of this series and my love for Ryuichi Sakuma. Sadly Gravi EX has only a Volume here and since TP went belly up... (-_-::)
DN Angel Oh why must you make me suffer...? And the lousy 3 volumes of 07Ghost before GoComi disappeared.

More Kaori Yuki! Grand Guignol Orchestra is signature Kaori Yuki. It's that Gothic style I love, beautiful characters and creepy as hell story line. If you start reading anything from her you will never stop.
Now some books. There's horror, mystery and some gay fiction. Love Stephen King and HP Lovecraft as well as E.A. Poe. Read them all! XD
Gay books: How to Rape a Straight Guy (don't read it, utter shit) The great Mirror of Male Love (by all means read it, it goes back to the time of the samurai, beautifully written) Soft Focus (not bad, very sexy but I wish it had something more) Geography of Murder (lord shoot me, the sex parts were really good, the characters made me wanna eat kittens) The Assignment (okay porn book basically, the sex parts were really good --trust me-- but the whole cop partner stuff got old really fast)
I know y'all know all of these, if not...GO READ 'EM!

Tina sent me this Yamano Ayane Viewfinder art book which I adore.

The KHR on the bottom row, the one with the Wolfie Gokudera is one of those pressies ^^
I think about half of the Naruto djs were pressies also. The last one on the bottom row being the first I got from Kristel.
These CG are just drool worthy. And the Gundam 00 are just beautiful.
That's all. I wasn't willing to take pics of all the SJ magazines ^^;
Still waiting for a Baka Ouji Nendoroid, a Panty and Stocking w/chuck set and a Scabty & Kneesocks set, and another Star Driver set. Not to mention the other figures I want.... Must. Resist.Urge.
