So.... I contacted an adviser at Eastern because i wanted to get into the MA program for school counseling, but i saw a "with teaching certification" she wrote me back saying that i did not need a teaching certification but that i needed 2-5 years of working with children k-12 so crap. So my only option with that is college counseling and then after i graduate re applying to get school certification (1-2 semesters more) and then pass the test. But i still need 2-5 years working with kids which is fine because i am substitute teaching now so i just need to keep it for all of my graduate and after. Just a pain in my arse. I am going to look into other programs around the state because i remember one of them was just counseling and i could school counsel, or whatever i wanted i believe without working with kids for an extended period of time.
So Huph back to the drawing board with this... On the plus side i stopped procrastinating and decided it was time to schedule my GRE i just have to pay $140 and then i take it in April. Then i graduate ! :)
