ok here i am still in AK. Went hiking yesterday up Peterson Creek...i think thats what it was called. anyway pete and i had this horrid depressing discussion about how poor we will be when i get here...he is almost out of money because moving here cost more than he thought. i have a feeling that EVERYONE thinks that i will not handle this move very

No I got back to NJ on the 25th unfortunately! I wanted to get intouch with you while I was there but I just never got a chance to! Hopefully you'll still be there when I get there in dec and we can meet up or something!

i loved it! I can't wait to get move there. i already know that it is going to be really hard though money wise! everything is so exspensive! i'm just hoping i can find a decent job. i loved it though, i wish we got to go hiking a bit and go camping...pete wanted to get to know the lay of land before we went camping though!

Haha, understandable. There are a lot of Forest Service cabins that generally aren't long hikes to get to. He should look into that option if he wants to go camping, also there are a few campgrounds. He should also get one of the Juneau trailbooks, they have a lot of good information in them. Juneau is an expensive city, but I'm doing alright making less than $1000 a month. The pay is also pretty good at most jobs.
