We got an ultrasound done on Tuesday. I am right around 13 weeks along. Everything looked good. They couldn't tell the sex of the baby for sure but the Doctor made a very tentative "girl" prediction. It was so exciting to actually see the baby moving. It got the hiccups while we were watching which was super cool. Also I cried with relief when they told me that based on the measurements that it appears to be very healthy with very low risk for Down's Syndrome.
I continue to feel better as time goes on though it is still pretty unpredictable how I will feel at any given time. Much less nausea though it still happens about 10% to 30% of the day. This is much better than the 100% that I was having before. The fatigue is also a bit better but I still have trouble doing simple things such as climbing multiple flights of stairs without needing to sit down and catch my breath. I woke up this morning feeling mostly like myself again and even have been more up for joking around and being playful this week. I have been pretty humor impaired over the last 8 weeks or so since the nausea and fatigue started.
Well here is a picture of Baby#2 who should be joining us around July 7th this year.
