[ Sitting on the bench next to the fountain at the center of town. Though it wasn't running now - impossible for the mechanics to do so in the middle of winter, the lights were still on, and at 3 am, it's a quiet enough place to think.

Especially given that Barnaby had been tormented by the Old Man for half the day already. ]

Did someone call for an old man?

[Kotetsu almost passed Barnaby by... But he did a quick double take, before trotting over, his usual doofy grin on his face.]

Hey, Bunny! What're you doing sitting out here so late?

apparently so!

[ not who he was expecting to see, but somehow, just his luck. ]

Shouldn't I be asking you the same question?

[Aw, c'mon Bunny. It could be worse.]

I'm on my way home, not sitting here in the cold.

[barnabunny]

You're on your way home at 3 in the morning, old man.

[ Kotetsu is getting that slightly annoyed look that Bunny does so well. ]

I was at the bar with Antonio.

[ Sadly, it's a better excuse than Barnaby has, which is just thinking. plotting revenge. you know, the usual. ]

Did you not have enough money for a taxi? With this weather...

I did. I just thought a walk would be nice. It's not like I live that far away.

[Getting drunk is definitely better than sitting in the cold plotting revenge.]

Then why did you stop here?

Because I saw you, and I was wondering why you were sitting out here in the cold.

It's just snow.

[ And he stiffens because yes, sure he's cold, but who cares about that. ]
