Now? A typical day for me now is getting up -- fairly early, usually -- taking Cheyenne out for a walk on the beach. If the others are awake, something resembling a communal breakfast, or at least, a communal pot of coffee.
Then, nothing, really. I know that sounds lame, but... I spend the day outside with the dog, or talking with Rak, Rob and Rush... maybe helping Rob out with some deliveries. Reading. Phone calls with Charlie. Shopping for supplies for the Garage.
Of course, if Bill is in London, this all goes away and I'm over there in a flash. And what we spend all day doing is personal ...
The end of the day is also spent with my "family." Dinner with the gang, another walk on the beach with Cheyenne.
It's ... it took some getting used to, not really having anything to do all day. My day used to be scheduled, ordered, arranged. Briefings, missions, debriefings. Lab work. More meetings. More briefings. Sleep. Repeat.
Part of me misses it.
