hey! i don't think we've ever met but i stumbled on your page and you actually update this still! i think i will have to add you.

when it comes to "tacky music i used to listen too," i have definitely succumbed to the phenomena of revisiting the albums that were tucked away in closets and hadn't seen the light of day for years. nine inch nails is definitely a band that i can still appreciate, although i do find them a bit melodramatic at this point in my life. i guess they were perfect for the angsty 13-17 year old days. i liked korn (koRn?) and godsmack back in the middle school days, around when godsmack's first album came out, but then i began getting into punk and death metal, and in retrospect i think i used the music as more of a social crutch than anything else. i loved acting as if i knew "more" about music than most of the kids at my high school, when in reality i was just sitting on audiogalaxy and in message boards when i should've been doing something real. hmm...

but yes, we change with the times, and i'm glad to say i don't associate myself with any type of music... other than the general ass-kickin' rock and roll kind. haha... nah.
