Some of you may know Daniel Clowes as the author of the graphic novel Ghost World, simply through the terrific film in which it was based. What you SHOULD know him for are his other comics, specifically those featured in 20th Century Eightball, which puts everything I do to a horrible shame and when I read it I am both elated and suicidal because I will never become even close to being as good as Clowes.
