Questions from Crowhawk (you are a tough interviewer!!!!)

Questions for Sexycelticlady (I feel ridiculous calling you this in public by the way, however factually accurate the description) - lol, thank you my friend. :)

1. If a wicked witch cast a spell upon you that changed you into an inanimate object, what would you become and why?

When I looked at this question the first thing that came into my head was a Mirror. People only see what they wish to see, whether the truth is staring them in the face or not. I try to be truthful and honest not only with other people but myself as well. Mirrors tell the truth, but people will only see it if they actually look.

2. If you attended a party dressed only in body paint, which colours and patterns would you use?

I would use the colours black and pale gold, my favorite colours, and the paint would be either be a tribal design (think of George Cloony's character's tattoo in From Dusk 'til Dawn) or celtic knot work, the foreground of the pattern in black and background the gold.

3. If you could ask a single question and be guaranteed a full and honest answer, who would you ask and what would the question be?

There are so many questions I would like to ask, but I also enjoy examining the questions myself and comming to my own conclusions. I think a lot of people would ask God something, but honestly, if there is a God I am not at all interested in what he would have to say. I think I would like to ask a questions that would answer a mystery, for example, ask the Captain of the Mary Celeste what the hell actually happened?

4. Do you have a favourite poem? If so, what is it?

I have two. "Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening" by Robert Frost and "Neutral tones" by Thomas Hardy. I vary with which one I prefer but at present Neutral tones fits my mood. It is a sad poem and full of regret, written after his wife died I believe. The words are brief but extremely evocative.

We stood by a pond that winter day,
And the sun was white, as though chidden of God,
And a few leaves lay on the starving sod,
--They had fallen from an ash, and were gray.

Your eyes on me were as eyes that rove
Over tedious riddles solved years ago;
And some words played between us to and fro--
On which lost the more by our love.

The smile on your mouth was the deadest thing
Alive enough to have strength to die;
And a grin of bitterness swept thereby
Like an ominous bird a-wing....

Since then, keen lessons that love deceives,
And wrings with wrong, have shaped to me
Your face, and the God-curst sun, and a tree,
And a pond edged with grayish leaves.

5. If you could live for a day as someone else, who would you choose and why?

Morgaine or more commonly known as Morgan le Fay. The mythology of the Arthurian legends and the Welsh stores have become so intertwinne that it is difficult to say if she really existed or is simply myth. It would be interesting to find out and maybe for a day be a part of the Arthurian household out of pure curiosity. :)

I would be interested in anyone else's answers to these questions. Thanks Crowhawk :) I had to think about some of these.
