Parcels!!!
It is always nice recieving stuff in the post (or mail as I suppose I should say in the US). Unfortunately they get left in the managers office so I can only get them during office hours. It is a stupid system really and very irritating.
So it looks like my corset has arrived and possibly my new sewing machine!!! :D I also recieved a parcel from Mum that fit into my mail box. She had phoned me a couple of weeks ago when I was trying to do some cooking and was getting upset about it as I didn't have the really good quality cooking utensils that I bought over the course of several years (I did a lot of cooking, baking and entertaining back in the UK) and I couldn't find the right ingredients, or at least the ones I as familiar with, in the supermarkets. She caught me at a moment when everything was getting to me. So she has sent me a load of packets for cooking different sauces and graveys etc as a reminder of the UK as well as $50 to go towards my "kitchen fund". I have a great Mum. Miss her so much. :)
