EYE OF THE FUCKING TIGER !
So I went for my grading tonight, and didn't make it to the next grade.
I COMPLETELY SKIPPED IT AND MADE IT TO THE GRADE ABOVE THAT !
So I'm rather shocked - and pleased - to say the least as I didn't expect to skip a rank.
Our instructors singled me and one of the other students in the class out after the grading and told all the other students that if they want to know what a good student looks like, look up to us as examples. One of my instructors even made use of the word "flawless" to describe my grading - I'm not convinced of that, but I'm extremely honoured to say the least !
I skipped straight from the first proper rank (yellow) to the third rank (green), even though I only put in to grade for the second rank (orange) - you should have seen my face go pale when they announced it !
In any case, it's time for sleep - I think I've earned it !
