(no subject)
On a lighter note, I am ALMOST done painting my room! YIPPY! I never thought my room would be so hard. I couldnt find the right color for the longest time. But now I think I found one that I like. It's a really light pink. Almost white. Which is good because I'm goin for the really sophisticated look. One that when you walk in the room you have to ask yourself "are the walls pink?". There's a little cut-out where my desk is going to be and I'm going to paint it dark grey to match the linens... As for the artistic side... I want to cover this nasty window that looks out to the underside of the porch. It's kind of in a difficult spot because its in the centre/top of the back wall. The wall you look at as you enter the room. I need to think of something creative to do to it... I'm thinking some sort of fancy art work, where I have three canvases with something painted on it... One covering the window, then the other two follow bellow with a slight space inbetween each canvas. I really like that idea, the only problem is, what should I paint on the canvases?? I was kind of thinking doing a sort of abstract painting of a woman's body. Like, from the stomach up to her neck, with her arms crossed covering her breasts. I would probably paint the body pink with all the shading and background in a dark grey... Or I was thinking of painting my favourite flower, Hibiscus. Once again, making it slightly abstract. I am putting in a whole whack of other nifty artsy things into my room... But I don't feel like writing it all out right now. Haha!
