its already march!
Let's see...
I havent written since december! So let me tell you whats been going on! I am doing my junior internship and it's going well. I finished my 1st placement 2 weeks ago... i was in 2nd grade and i loved my class! They were all GREAT kids! We went to the Zoo for their field trip and it was a blast! Now i'm in my second placement, which is 3rd grade. In Florida, in the 3,4,5 grades they have to take the FCAT, which is a test they must pass to move on to the next grade. The kids have been doing great and not stressing. They had their reading part today and they all finished with lots of time! :) It's a huge deal around here b/c there is so much emphasis put on this one test! Theres not a lot for me to do this week, but thats ok... getting up at 6:47 every morning is starting to wear on me thou! I sit in traffice about a 1/2 hour and its not fun! I feel like a real grown up with a real job, except i dont get paid! Did i mention that Ed interns are the only ones that dont get a paid internship! (SUCKS)
Sorority Life has been overwhelming, but it will slow down shortly... my best friend is the president and i see what a toll it takes on her. She always has so much on her plate, she just amazes me with her ability! She is doing such a great job!
I also have 3 classes in addition to the internship that are a lot of work! I have case studies and lesson plans and such that i have to do in correlation with my internship! We register April 5 for summer, fall and spring! I have 8 classes left and thats freaky! Most likely i wont be home for summer... i think i'm going to take 4 classes this summer and then 4 in the fall and then in the spring i will have my senior internship, which is 12 credit hours... so you dont take classes! AHHHHHH!!! Is anyone else freaking out about being a SENIOR IN COLLEGE next semester!!??? Well i have babbled enough! I hope you are all doing well!!
