Superman/X-Men Movieverse. Lois Lane/Richard White, Lois Lane/Superman, Scott Summers/Jean Gray.
Summary:Richard White had hallucinations of a bald man in a wheelchair, a white-haired African-American, and a mansion full of extraordinary children.
This is the fic that fixed X3 for me. Because Lord knows the writers weren't going to pay any attention to canon or keeping people in character or explaining their attemts at plot. And when I saw that James Marsden was playing both Cyclops and Lois Lane's new squeeze, of course my brain jumped to a place like this. But Katt fleshes out my fixation, gives it origin and consequences, and consequently, breaks my heart. If you like Cyclops, you should read this.

POTC/HP. Jack/OFC, OMC/OFC.
Summary: Jack's always been an odd bird.
This fic should not work. Boy!Jack as a wizard at Hogwarts? With some ancestors of the HP characters we know? Totally should not work. And yet Penknife makes it work and makes it wonderful. Jack's voice is spot on and the others' voices are fun and individualistic. All the little details tie everything together perfectly with both of the canons. Much like a good summer movie, this fic is light and fun and incredibly charming.
Road to Reno by Grey Bard
Ocean's Eleven. Danny/Tess. Danny/Rusty.
Summary: Danny Ocean is not repentant, not reformed, not a bookie and not in the state of New Jersey. But that doesn't mean he wants his wife to know that.
Great opening. Great voices. A nice, clever story structure. Plus, you know, Danny/Rusty. I really wish I could find some new fic for the new movie, but in the meantime, re-read this classic. You won't regret it.
