Another Fabulous FKO
Thanks to all my fellow Concom members and volunteers for another job well done and a fabulous Con. Big thanks also to all our amazing guests and to everyone who attended. I would also like to thank Kaypo for being so well behaved at her first Con and greeting everyone there (I mean everyone)! They want to hire Kaypo for the children's programming next year as she kept the kids all busy and entertained at a critical time this year. FKO was a truely amazing experience for everyone I think this year and people came up to me and told me that this is their favourite filk con and a lot of first timers want to come back. Some of my highlights were hearing Wild Mercy do the best concert ever and being wonderful wonderful guests and meeting all of Ghost of A Rose and jamming with Dene and Barry on our doubleneckers in the workshop and at late night filks. Seeing and hearing my good friend Talis, seeing Joey Shoji again and hearing him sing, backing Karen Linsley in her most amazing concert and performing with my wife as Stone Dragons and having Amy join us on stage :-O There were just so many fantastic times and I wish I could have spent more time shmoozing with people buy my duties kept me busy. Hugs to you all and I hope to see everyone next year because I managed to convince"Meg Davis" to be out GOH (be still my beating heart). Hugs to you all!!!!!
