FKO or Bust and assorted other ramblings
FKO is quickly approaching and I am feeling a little stressed but excited since I am officially part of ConCom this year and will be backing several people in their concerts including Karen Linsley and Talis Kimberley along with a workshop/mini concert with Barry and a concert with Stone Dragons on the Friday. This and my regular Con duties on sound. Tonight is Kaypo's first adult obedience class and she has been registered for FKO and Friday I am going to the Sportsman Show with my son-in-law Steven and the grand daughters and then Saturday is a House Filk out in Whitby at Bruce's. Sunday is a rehearsal with Karen Linsley and Phil for her concert at FKO and Dave arrives from Winnipeg on the 25th and is staying with us and doing some recording work on the Stone Dragons CD before the Con. I have finished the FKO Auction DVD for this year and it will truelly be a collectors item with recent performances from Talis Kimberley, Karen Linsley, Scott Snyder, Barry Childs Helton, SJTucker, Tricky Pixy, Seannan McGuire, Paul Kwinn, Urban Tapestry, Bedlam Bards, Magician, Katy and Ju, Bill and Steve Mac, Heather and Ben with Betsy Tinney, Margaret and Kristoph and Erica all filmed in HD and surround sound. This was a labour of love and thanks to all who gave their permissions.
