So I got back from Israel yesterday. What did I do?
Rode a camel and a donkey.
Went to the Kotel for shabbat.
Swam in the Dead Sea.
Gashed my foot on the salt rocks.
Went to a bar in Tel Aviv.
Danced on a disco cruise in Tiberius.
Planted a tree.
Took pictures.
Helped at an archaeological dig.
Went spelunking.
Stayed up all night to watch the sunrise on top of a dune behind the Bedouin tents.
Talked.
Burned a table.
Saw my first shooting star.
Visited a winery.
Climbed Masada.
Watched my group clean out the liquor aisle in the supermarket.
Played with kids at an Ethiopian absorbtian center.
Took a tour of the underground Kotel tunnels.
Saw an Israeli air force base.
Shopped.
Saw Yad Vashem.
Saw Independence Hall, where Israel was officially declared a state.
Ate lunch in an alley, hobo-style.
Made a fort out of spare blankets.
Drove an ATV style jeep through the Golan.
Got dirty.
Jumped over streams in Ein Gedi.
Visited Mount Herzl.
Sang and danced with about a thousand other Jews from all over the world at the Mega Event.
Spent hours on a bus.
Slept...once in a while.
Got my luggage lost between NY and Boston. (It's okay though, I got it back last night.)
And more.
I'm exhausted and sick, but it was so worth it.
Let's go back.
