Black Jack as Frank-N-Furter, so welcome to The Pinoko Horror Picture Show!
Oh my gosh! There are so many thoughts on my mind right now, which I would like to share with you about this drawing, that I'm actually kind of planless at the moment (I should start with the idea for this drawing, I guess ). ^^;
Well, I've been watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show about three weeks ago (haven't watched that movie in quite a while to be honest), which is after Black Jack - The Movie one of my all time favorite movies. In that movie, there's the scene where we get introduced to Frank-N-Furter (brilliantly played by Tim Curry) with the song 'Sweet Transvestite'. God, I think it's kind of pointless to describe that scene, so just head over to YouTube and watch it! At the point, where Frank-N-Furter does rip off his coat, I sat there and thought to myself: Does Black Jack actually wears the same dress under his cloak at night (yes, I'm soooo horribly kinky, that I thought, that Black Jack would look quite sexy in that dress)?!
Ha ha, now you know how I do connect my ideas. XD
I was absolutely fascinated by the idea, to see Black Jack wearing Frank-N-Furter's dress, that I looked up two references and started to sketch out the idea for it. At this point, I would also like to thank my friends here on Livejournal for their encouragement to go ahead with it since it actually takes some guts to draw your favorite and beloved character in a dress like this one. *huggles*
I would say, that I've never been coloring anything before this drawing, which did put me under that much pressure since I wanted to create something, which looks decent in the end. I started to cry at one point during the coloring of it because I got so frustrated with it, that I was quite close to the point to give up on it (this also explains why I did spend so much time on it). Luckily, I'm also quite stubborn and insane. *sighs*
